Arrivés dans la nuit du 29 au 30 mars à Phong Hai, nous repartions dès le soir même, après une quinzaine d'heures d'escale.
Le terminal dédié aux porte-conteneurs trans-océanique est situé à l'entrée du port, non-loin de l'île très réputée de Cat Ba. Cette dernière est accessible classiquement par bac...et également depuis 2020 par un téléphérique.Le port d'Hai Phong est le troisième plus grand du Vietnam. Il est ainsi animé d'un très important trafic maritime, notamment des caboteurs.
